Apple Software Synth

Post by buzzsmith »

Occasionally, I need to download a mid file and audition it with the Apple Software Synth within DP.

Noticed recently that Channel 10 (drums) ASS only allows one selection for a drum kit, that being "Standard Kit".

Not having used this very much, is that normal?

I would expect maybe 7-10 different drum kit choices.

Thanks!

It should appear in the drop down list that you assign your MIDI Outputs to.

I don't have any further details than that...I didn't actually "install" it, it was just there (it replaced the OS9 QT MIDI Player)

...still curious about the limited drum kit availability, though.
