Nice find! I like.
I sometimes forget how effective stripped down arrangements can be...sometimes a guy w/ an acoustic guitar is all you need.

Re: Music you're listening to lately?
A movie I saw last night about music is Scott Walker: 30 Century Man.
Covers Scott Walker's arc from a 60's heart throb to a current avant-garde composer.
He used to do crooning, easy-listening and now he makes some very difficult-listening.
The only hit song I know by his 60's outfit, The Walker Bros., is "The Sun Aint Gonna Shine Anymore", which I like.
I bought his recent album on 4AD records, The Drift, and it's pretty bleak with powerful and beautiful punctuations scattered throughout. There's a full symphony, and a percussionist who has to punch a big chunk of meat to Scott's precise direction.

Re: Music you're listening to lately?
disturbed unforgivable
i like the interaction of accents between drums and guitars/bass. only song i can think of thats remotely recent. i can put up with a few "in your face" tunes like that but i need variety to keep my interest. i heard an old anita baker song that i like called sweet love. i really like that 'clean' recording sound she has. steely dan and alan parsons have that warm but crisp sound too. it has become an exception to the norm to what i hear these days but im a victim of fm radio stations. i put my stereo on scan when driving in my van and i rarely stop it cause the tunes seldom fit my fancy. maybe im just too picky.
enjoy the heck outta whatever floats your boat!
peace

Re: Music you're listening to lately?
Yes has music that's worth listening to more than once, that's for sure. Even though I have most of what's been released, I'm saving up for The Lost Tapes (the 20 CD box).
Other than Yes, my recently played list shows Smetana's "Moldau" and Motorhead's "Ace of Spades". A combination made in heaven.
