Dream Theater?? Really... I thought they used Logic(their drummer auditions was recorded in Logic)..I know Jordan Rudess uses Logic.. Maybe he changed too..
Well.. thats good I guess!

cheers
Had no idea Dream Theater used DP. That's great
Well, i know that they used to, at least internally. Back before Train of Thought was released, they had this little competition, they took their instrumental, "Stream of Consciousnes" and released a conductor track event list, as well as a photo of the "arrangemen whiteboard", with all the section descriptions. The photos they released of the conductor track were very clearly from DP. Individually, I think they used a variety of DAWs, I seem to remember Petrucci using Pro Tools, but I always thought that Jordan was the DP guy, I think that was his arrangement mockup they used for the completion (which was to write a tune based on the info they had released). Maybe he changed, that was back in 04 I think.

Awesome, Magic D! The MOTU God meets the Rock God. Love it! And Mr. Townshend has exquisite taste in music software.

I just read Townshend's autobiography ('Who I am'), great (and intense at times) reading.
