The best chance most Americans have to hear the nyckelharpa live is when Väsen comes to the States. I have seen them many times and they put on a delightful show.

Friends of mine! Olov used to be my teacher years ago! Great band!

Downloaded score cleaner today to try out. I'm away for the weekend and don't have a MIDI keyboard with me but thought I try opening a MIDI file saved in DP7 but score cleaner didn't want to open it . Any one else get score cleaner to open a DP MIDI file?

I haven't tried that myself but will do it now.towerproductions wrote:Downloaded score cleaner today to try out. Otherwise if find it quite functional so far. I'm a lousy pianist but SC understands what I'm playing anyway. I still don't picture myself using this software in a near future though. After all, I'm faster writing notes in speedy entry in Finale than playing MIDI-keyboard in SC. In the end the notes are ending up in Finale anyway.

SC either says that something went wrong with the analysis or it crasches!towerproductions wrote:.. I try opening a MIDI file saved in DP7 but score cleaner didn't want to open it . Any one else get score cleaner to open a DP MIDI file?

Re: New intelligent notation software
ok thanks for the update. It would be great if it could open a DP MIDI file that was already recorded.
I did get it to open one track I saved as MIDI file but not the one I was trying to open.I tried saving the MIDI file file with several of the options to see if any would work.

Re: New intelligent notation software
The makers told us that it was supposed to do that but chances are that it's gonna take a while before this software works properly.towerproductions wrote:ok thanks for the update. It would be great if it could open a DP MIDI file that was already recorded.

Re: New intelligent notation software
I've tried myself but unfortunately isn't anything magic as I've hoped. Playing very simple stuff, like the one in the example does create a usable score, but as soon as you try to do something just a bit more articulate … hmmm, the usual messy looking score results.
On top of that I wasn't able to let the score playing any of the MIDI devices in my sys, nor hear the click track trough any of my audio outs. Anyway, for everyone that have problem with Swedish, here there's the English version http://www.doremir.com/en/products/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
