Motu, you have to face. :shake:

I wouldn't assume he's talking about stuck notes. And even if he was,
we have no information on what circumstances surround the stuck notes.
For all we know, he keeps hitting a MIDI key that is assigned to some
command inadvertently, or something like that. It could be he has very
old MIDI-equipped hardware (like an old Yamaha drum machine, or an Ensoniq VFX) that is prone to bottlenecking incoming MIDI data. Or, he could be
doing something simply ridiculous like pounding as many notes on a piano
sound as he can, over and over, and not letting up on the sustain pedal.
It's amazing how many people have unrealistic expectations about MIDI
and MIDI gear.

I've had stuck notes in the past, with all versions of DP up to and
including 5.13, but since moving to DP7 I haven't experienced that
problem.

Regardless of language, there is clearly a sense of hysteria in the post title that stretches over cultural lines. Hoax? More like troll...

+1

It's probably somebody that got banned from the forum, having a laf out of the number of posts they can generate with only 1 incomprehensible post.

…string theory says that all subatomic particles of the universe are nothing but musical notes. A, B-flat, C-sharp, correspond to electrons, neutrinos, quarks, and what have you. Therefore, physics is nothing but the laws of harmony of these strings. Chemistry is nothing but the melodies we can play on these strings. The universe is a symphony of strings and the mind of God… it is cosmic music resonating through 11 dimensional hyperspace.

Earlier I asked, "Where does one go from here", or something to that effect.

Right now, I feel sorry for this person. I love a good jibe session, but only when it's obviously warranted/deserved.

Look, he apparently has an issue. You guys know I have a hard time with someone who just splatters posts across the board that are just a rant or admonishment of MOTU with no sort of explanation or anything-- just a venting post with plenty of exclamation points. It's somehow worse when it's in broken English. I'm not making fun of the guy... his English is better than my Mandarin, or whatever.

He's welcome to expand here, but he never did and his post is a "Gripe" and I moved it here. Let's be clear: when you make a post that makes not even the slightest pretense of being in search of an actual "answer" but is just someone expressing unhappiness about an issue, it goes here. I mean, those sorts of posts are truly useless posts. They're therapeutic perhaps for the person posting them. They get to vent and let us all know how upset they are. And maybe... just maybe... someone at MOTU might come across it and think "Gee... this guy's upset. Unfortunately there's no useful information to help us figure it out. Oh well" and then they'll move on. I barely read them enough so I can determine if they are a "Gripe" or there's an attempt to find evidence toward solving it. Then it goes into "troubleshooting" which is about more than venting.
