DP5: mute a folder, is it possible?

DP5: mute a folder, is it possible?

Would be useful to mute a folder containing some tracks. Is it possible? How?

No. A folder is just a name not a track in its own right ....it's a viewing tool only not an audio one.

Too mute a collection of tracks you would have to send them through an aux track and mute that...


... or use track groups.

What a shame.

I believe Cubase has mute/solo on the folders.

Yes, it does, and it's very handy. MOTU should definitely include the feature - I don't think it would be particularly hard.

Here's another "yes" vote. Muting folders would be a very useful feature!
