PCI-X USB 2.0 expansion cards?

Post by thesoundsmith »

Is anyone aware of USB 2.0 expansion cards, preferably with a minimum of 4 ports, taht will run on my G5 dual 2.7G machine with all PCI-X slots? Everything I see is for old PCI, and AFAIK will not run from a PCI-X slot.

Ive been searching for a pci-x firewire card for my G5 2.5, want to add external FW hdd.

Found this site w/some interesting products
www.4videoequipment.com

Found a card G-Technology pci (pci-x) card. Have to do some checking, see if anyone has any experience w/this product, adds FW 800/400's, saw some ads on the site for usb cards, so u may want to check them out.
Im going to give them a call today.
