MSI 1.1.1 - Notes Sticking in Sonar

Post by ittango »

Hello, all. Just installed 1.1.1 (previous versions didn't work for me) and I'm having a sticky note problem. If MIDI playback is stopped during a phrase all MSI notes stick, and I have to click my reset button.
Any Ideas?
Thanx!

Same thing here. Reset audio button only cure. Happens mostly on instruments with sustain (sus) I see other posts that fault reverb for high CPU usage, but no reply to the sticky note situation.

MSI Note Sticks

Post by DanAE »

I haven't had any problem with notes sticking while working within Sonar 3. I am using MSI as A VSTi plug-in. I have never had any luck with DXi. NOTE: All sounds are on a seperate hard drive than the MSI program. Also, I use GPO as a VSTi plug-in within Sonar and I have no problems with that program either.

Below are the specifications to my system.

Intel P4, 3.06 GHZ, 3 gig RAM
80 GIG SATA Hrd. Drv. & 120 GIG SATA Hrd. Drv.
NVIDA Quadro FX 500 Video Card
Windows XP PRO. SP2

I should have mentioned in my previous post that I am running my anti-virus software at the same time too.
