Arturia V Collection 9 update (Jun-6 V)

Also another little updated popped up for Arturia V Collection 9, but it's just the Jun-6 V instrument that goes from 1.6.0.4395 to 1.6.1.4685. BTW, has anyone else noticed that from time to time the Arturia Software Center likes to spontaneously pause installation and you have to click the button to resume and then it finishes normally?

CHANGES

E-Drums
• A DWe preset has been added.
• Improved compatibility with Roots SDX.


BUG FIXES

Drums Tab
• In the layer limit text fields, it did not work to change to unlimited by entering a “-” character.

Mixer Tab
• Loading certain SD2 (Superior Drummer 2) mixer presets, some channels were invisible in SD3 even though they were visible in SD2.

Grid Editor
• When a user-added instrument was removed but it was not the most recently added one, mute and solo buttons in the Grid Editor could show incorrect states for some instruments and percussion preview in Grid Editor could be incorrect.

Settings
• “MIDI Learn” for e-drums often did not work at all.
• Opening Settings while getting incoming MIDI could cause a crash.
• Quitting the host or removing the plug-in with the Settings dialog open could cause a crash.

Geez... this happened on 3/4/24 and I was back on version 1.4.4. I don't get any notification emails from these guys so don't know what's going on here. In fact, there were updates for several of their plugs I own that I had no idea about including:

Tai Chi version 1.4.0 (released 2/11/24)
Reverberate 3 version 3.4.0 (released 10/9/23)
HD Cart version 1.3.0 (released 1/10/24)

Hahaha! I just saw that! I'm going to start a Time Machine backup so I have an APFS snapshot to restore from in case all goes bad... THEN I will update and see how it goes. I trust NI about as far as I can throw them now.

There IS an Ozone Equalizer update... that seems safe enough. Going to do that before I do the Kontakt one.

Just installed Kontakt 7.10.2. On very preliminary messing around with it, it seems okay. My studio is a bit torn up as I'm re-arranging gear in my desk so power amp/speakers not connected, but I see signal on the meters when I play Kontakt and opened a few libraries/instruments on it. As always, YMMV. Backup first.

XLD is a tool for transcoding lossless audio files. I think it’s indispensable.
