There used to be sharing sites for midnam files but they seem to be disappearing. One of them, Digicake, suggests getting a demo copy of DP and extracting them from there.

We could set up a little thread here to share patch-lists in the .midnam format for various hardware synths. The files are tiny, and easily attached to posts. People could post requests, and others who have that gear, and have either already created a patch list, or have access to an older mac could help out.
All in all creating a midnam file with CherryPicker isn't that bad. What matters most is having already in .txt form the entire list of patches and knowing the relevant CC#0 and/or CC#32 with the respective values. Then it's just a matter of copying and pasting.
For instance, if a patchlist is in .PDF format, with AcrobatDC or similar application, the file can be exported into a .xls or .txt one. Then copying and pasting into CherryPicker is straightforward.
Then another aspect to take into consideration is if a midnam file must contain only preset data or user one. In that case, the customisation is unavoidable and CherryPicker or a text editor is fundamental.

Not sure if this is a coincidence, or if this is you on the other forum. If it's not you, then perhaps you'll find these threads useful. This is a user forum for Kurzweil, and the threads are about patchlists for K2700 & DP.

Hahahaha.... it's me. In any case, I'm grateful you found my other thread. Little by little, I'm building my .midnam files provided that I must use an old computer with Mojave, where CherryPicker can run.
By the way, the midnam for K2700 I provided was created without checking it, because at present my K2700 is under technical assistance.

I figured that was you. I have a K2661 & PC3K, so can't test the patchlist here.

At some point down the road, I might consider a K2061, but there isn't much info available yet.

The K2661 is a beast. In addition to having a great features & workflow for sample mapping & playback, I really love the sequencer-- which is the one thing that was severely diminished in the non-K2xxx models going forward. There's been some movement with restoring graphic sample editing, but time will tell if they ever re-implement all the other sample DSP from the before times.

Good luck with your K2700!! Let us know (over there on MV) how it goes.
