Steps on upgrading from M2 to M6 on Windows 10

Greetings fellow MOTUnians!

Here to ask if anyone else upgraded from M2 to M6 on Windows 10 and steps you took? -- Did you uninstall "MOTU M Series" via Settings -> Apps & Features, and then do a fresh install for the M6?

Or is there a more better, cleaner, preferred approach, or any other tips or tricks to consider when making this change, installing and setting up M6?
