The first similarity the leapt to mind for me was that I couldn’t afford either when they first came out. Vision Pro is $3500. I’ll have to wait for economies of scale to kick in.
First Mac I ever owned (when I made the switch from my IBM PC clone / MPU 401 setup) was an SE with a 20MB hard drive that cost me $2500 and I had to take out a loan!
