Motu 8preES won't update on Win 11

Stops on "Looking for Network".
Allowed through Firewall.
Using USB 3 or 2 makes no difference.
Everything disconnected.
I keep cycling the unit with no success.
Please can someone HELP???

Current Firmware 1.3.5+184 want to update to Firmware 1.4.0+90954

I recently updated this way:

• Disconnect the 828es from USB/Thunderbolt
• Connect it directly to your computer with Ethernet
• Power the 828es off
• Power it back on while holding the MENU knob - it will go into update mode
• Wait a few moments and an IP address will appaer on the screen
• Type the IP Address into a web browser and you'll be brought to the update page
• Select the (already downloaded) firmware file

If you unplug and can't connect to a network, my first questions would be related to cabling/routing (i.e., try a different ethernet cable, and ethernet port / hub /switch / router on the other end).

If that doesn't work, I would go to motu for support -- they are quite responsive.
