Ozone 9 in DP and bouncing question

Post by frisb »

I am mixing a 24 bit song in DP, using Ozone 9 in my Master channel. All of the tracks in this song are 24 bits. Besides EQ, Compression, Limiting etc., I am using Ozone 9 to dither and convert the final mix to 16 bits. My question is: When I ask DP to bounce the track, I must select a bit preference. I am selecting 16 bit. Am I somehow double converting to 16 bits when I do this?

AFAICT, you are doing right.
DP creates a 16bit file from 16bit audio.
