Edit Per Note Event

Post by Aaron Guidry »

Just made a giant upgrade from DP 8 to DP 11.
Noticed in the MIDI Editor there's a button for "Edit Per Note Event" that seems to get activated when I double-click on a MIDI note. What is this? How can I turn it off?

IIRC it has something to do with the new MPE features.
M1 MBP; OS 12, FF800, DP 11.3, Kontakt 7, Reaktor 6, PC3K7, K2661S, iPad6, Godin XTSA, Two Ibanez 5 string basses (1 fretted, 1 fretless), FM3, SY-1000, etc.

I use that feature. If you play a wrong note, you can take it out. Or you can add a note. You can also adjust the velocity pressure when programming MIDI drums, keys, etc.... This is helpful cause i don't really play keys. Great tool imho.......

The settings are in Preferences --> MIDI Editing. There's a double click subgroup where you can turn it off.
