Hi guys!
I’m currently running my MacBook Air m1 with macOS Monterey and got it to work with my old MOTU 8PPre Firewire. I’ve been running this setup for more than 3 years but now I can’t update Logic because it needs the latest macOS.
Does anyone know if it’s possible to update to macOS Sonoma and still be able to use my good old MOTU that works like a charm?

Yes. Many threads on the subject.
The 8pre is no longer supported but the 8pre USB uses the same driver.
I'll assume that you already have the adapters you need, yes?
This is what you want. If you already have this working over Ventura, they are the same drivers but you may have to reinstall again. Also read this:
