M6 Outputs 3/4

Hey there! Really interested in the M6 interface because of the great preamps and converters for the money. I do have outboard gear i want to send out to however. outputs 1/2 will be my main monitors. My main question is can i individually select each output (3 OR 4) as an output selection in my daw(FL Studio 21)? I’m on Mac on catalina still. i want to be able to send one audio source to output 3, and then a different audio source to output 4. i know my current 3rd gen scarlett 4i4 can only send audio to output 3/4 as a pair and i can’t select the outputs individually. i have ways i can get around it if i need to but it’s caused a lot of issues on my 4i4 and want to be able to have full control of my outputs. Returns are Inputs over USB, not Outputs. It's opposite of the analog jacks. Each analog Input goes directly to a USB Output either to Mono (1–6) or Stereo tracks with 1/3/5 panned hard L and 2/4/6 panned hard R. There is no mixer.

If your DAW supports Mono returns, you can select 3 or 4 as Inputs over USB. Some including GarageBand have stereo returns only. In addition, with Loopback (must install the Mac driver to enable), you have two more returns available.

Best to bone up on the documentation regarding your monitor options—much more flexible than the Scarlett.
