Hear notes as I edit them in the MIDI window

Post by midilance »

Is there a way to set it so that I hear the notes as I click on them and move them from note to note in the MIDI
Edit Window. Right now I have the tracks window above the MIDI edit window and must click inside the tracks window to check to see if my MIDI notes are right.

turn on multi channel recording, enable recording on your MIDI track, bring upfront the ME & click , drag away

Thank you. It might be handy if it were more obvious. It worked. What a relief! Thanks again!

I don't recall ever having to have multi-record on, in order to monitor MIDI notes when editing. I thought it was just the little speaker icon (?)
