When you want to increase the height of track at the bottom of the SE you have to pick the border without selecting some other piece of the UI, and drag down. You can't see how big you've made the track, and then you have to scroll the screen to see the whole track.

Would be nice to have the screen scroll up automatically when you drag the border down, so you can see the resizing happen, and not have to take the extra step to scroll the screen.

Do I correctly recall that in earlier DP versions, there was a bit of empty space below the bottom track, making it easier to at least grab the lower border of the track?

Losing that bit of space made certain actions a PIA and I sometimes add an extra track just for that reason.

I don't know when we lost it; only that we did.
