Thought I'd share this blog post. I remember not long ago Blue Cat announced that they were hopeful Sonoma fixed some issues with mutlicore processing and audio. They've since backtracked and admitted they made a mistake and that apparently Sonoma has bad issues with GPU inefficiency. Something to do with redrawing entire windows when only a portion needs to be updated:
