Still struggling with the articulations map feature. It does make it easy to control articulations from data in a track. What I can't figure out why we can't easily switch articulations with the transport stopped.
I'd like to send a patch change to a record-armed track and have it switch articulations, but with a map assigned using PCs as switches, it ignores those events except from the track, I can't even record those events on the fly. What the heck???
I can make it work with VIs that can switch articulations two different ways- set up a map to use notes (KSs), then send PCs to switch manually, but I can't figure out what the 'remote' feature is for if it doesn't pass the MIDI event through when stopped.
How do you guys switch while the transport is stopped?
