MOTU M-Series Universal Firmware PC v2023.9 | Sept. 18, 2023 wont install on Motu M2 device
I did everything correctly i shut down the Motu M2 device from the back and hold MON IN 2 button, after that i powered on the M2 and the display screen said that Motu update... Then i opened the firmware update, but it tells me that my device is already up to date. I have firmware version 2.04 at the moment.

There are different hardware revisions of each of the M series with different levels of firmware and MOTU is covering them all with one firmware updater. Depending on which rev you have it will update or tell you you're already up to date. For instance, I have an original M4 with firmware at 1.02 and any subsequent updaters beyond 1.02 have told me I'm up to date already. Confusing - yes.
