VIDEO: Using Steermouse to dramatically improve scrolling timeline in DP

Post by James Steele »

Posted a quick YouTube video showing how, especially if you have a large 4K monitor (this video only captures a 1920x1080 section of mine), you can vastly improve the scrolling experience in Digital Performer.

I might have to say "Hallelujah" to this. I've posted here a while back asking why my Magic Mouse on two computers scrolls ridiculously fast, even when I have the Scroll Settings at the lowest in the DP Prefs.

Too often when I do the option-scroll, either the Sequence shoots to 64th or 32nd note intervals, or conversely, the whole song gets scrunched up into a scramble of the graphic elements on top of each other. Frustrating!

What kind of mouse are you using, James?

I see "free trial." I think I'll check it out. THANK YOU!

PS. Cool to hear your voice.

I'm glad. I had issues with the Logictech software last time I tried it. it was a nightmare which is probably why I opted to use Steermouse. sry?
