MIDI & Audio suddenly not visible in Tracks Overview window. DP9

Hi guys. James here. Been using DP many years, and this has me stumped. I’m in v. 9.52 on a MacBook Pro, and everything perfect until today.

1. Suddenly both MIDI and audio data is not visible in the Tracks Overview window. However, I can hear audio playing just like normal when I hit play, and the wiper scrolls, but nothing shows in the window—just a white blank window. It literally just stopped working.
2. When I drag new MIDI or audio files into Tracks Overview, DP won’t receive it. As I was troubleshooting this today, I opened a new sequence, and dragged both MIDI and audio into the window. After dragging the data, I couldn't see anything but was thinking maybe the data actually was there, and I just couldn't see it, as in the 1st scenario. But no, there's nothing being received in there by DP. Really strange.

I have already shut down, restarted, uninstalled DP, reinstalled, begged and prayed for the data to show up. Not working. Any thoughts?

This is a pretty common thing that comes up. Check the View Filter. Can't remember the keyboard short cut at the moment.

Yep, happened to me just today. After I went into full panic mode and rebooting entire computer, I went and checked another song that I knew was good and sure enough that pesky filter thing related to all DP files with nothing on the right side of the tracks window. Since I could still hear audio I knew I was probably OK. After opening the filter view again I just started clicking boxes back on and wah-la all returned to view just fine.
