A while back I started relying heavily on Ozone 10 and would throw it on my Master Fader track to sort of give myself some "instant gratification" when workin on a project. I was getting a lot of crashes upon opening projects, however, I just kind of blew it off because on the second attempt to open the project it would load and I could work.
Recently, I sent a crash report to MOTU and it turns out that there might be some issues with iZotope plugs... in my case it was Ozone 10. I have the latest version. I swapped out Ozone 10 for sonible smart:limit on the project and no longer hold my breath when it loads.
Just a heads up for folks that might be having crashes on load... check if you have Ozone or other iZotope plugs in the project. That might be causing the instability.
