Hi!
I have 2x MOTU Mk3 Ultralite audio interfaces and would to be able to use them simultaneously on my music laptop.
When connecting the two audio interfaces over USB, MOTU Audio Console does correctly display the two audio interfaces, and I am able to adjust their settings.
However, when opening Ableton and selecting "Motu Audio ASIO", it crashes the program. I tried this on both desktop and on a spanking new laptop, both fail.
Am I doing something incorrectly, or is there some setting I need to check? Or is it simply not possible to connect multiple interfaces in parallel?
If not, could a daisy chain using both FireWire and USB solve the issue?
E.g
Mk3:1 ->Firewire -> Mk3:2
Mk3:2 -> USB -> PC
