Monitor 8 - no audio to AVB mixer

Hey,

I am new to the AVB world and just purchased a Monitor 8 to serve as my band's on-stage in-ear mixer/interface. The problem is I cannot get the mixer to work at all. I can route audio streams to groups, Mains, and Monitors, but every time I try to route them to the mixer - no audio.

I've tried this on an M1 MacBook Pro running MacOS 13 and an old Mac Pro running MacOS 10.13.6 with identical results. In both cases, I was using USB. I've also updated the firmware, but that did not change anything. The manual and all the tutorials just say to route them in the matrix, and then they work, but that's not happening for me. What am I missing? Please help!
