828 mk3 FW (non-hybrid) and OS Monterey: any results?

Post by Alinae »

Hi,

I bought a second hand 828 mk3 FW (non-hybrid) and my Mac is on OS Monterey.
There are no more drivers for this OS as Mac abandoned FW support.
But I've seen that some users had good results with other MOTU FW Interfaces.

My question, did anyone had success using 828 mk3 Firewire on Mac Monterey?

Thanks in advance!

Follow the instructions in this thread. If the unit is good, it will work. You may or may not also have to reset it to factory defaults.
