Monitoring with audio while in edit window

Post by midilance »

What am I missing? I have the Edit window open for a track. I can't hear the track play or notes play as I select them. What am I not doing correctly? It works if I have the Tracks window open too but I have to have the tracks window selected to hear it. Then I have to select the edit window to make changes. What do I have to do to have just the edit window open and be able to hear the part play?

Not in front of DP right now but isn’t there an audible edit mode button somewhere? I know in a pinch, the trick was to put the track into record mode which would then switch it into real-time.
