Well, this is a new one--I'm used to seeing DP record MIDI notes late--a known bug, but now I'm seeing them before the beat. I have Plugin compensation on, as I always have had. I've also taken all plugins out of the path, so as to minimize the latency.
Any insights would be appreciated, and TIA.
Running the latest DP on a mac pro w/ Big Sur.

Take a look at the MIDI Options in the DP Preferences/Settings and see if "Sync Recorded MIDI to Patch Thru" is checked. Sometimes toggling that helps. Usually I have this set to off.

When I turned it on, the MIDI notes were late a la the other bug we're dealing with, I presume. When I switched it off? Back to being early again.
