Hi!
Is there anyone anyone out there using a Korg NanoKontrol with DP?
I've been using the NanoKontrol for years with DP, exclusively as a fader controller for cc#s and attaching specific faders to channels in the mixing board (click-volume, 2-Bus Mix VCA, etc.).
I want to start using it to control switching specifics plugins in and out of bypass by attaching the switches to the plugins.
I've never used the lighted-switches (16 of them) on the NanoKontrol before.
What I want to do is hit a switch to turn on a plugin (take it out of bypass I guess) and then hit it again if I want to mute it again.
The NanoKontrol switches have many configurations, including toggle, but I want to get the LEDs working.
I've sort of been bumbling through it, and have managed to attach a switch to a specific plugin feature (thank you Bayswater for that tip!), but the LED thing I haven't figured out yet.
Currently my NanoKontrol LEDs will toggle with the switch, but only to let you know if the switch has been pushed or not.
What I want is two-way toggle lighted-switch feedback, as in if it's one state (bypass on) the LED will be off, and the other state (bypass off) it will be lit.
Right now when I open project, all of the lights on the NanoKontrol will be off, regardless of their status when I closed the project, so after that, the light could be on or off depending on if I hit a switch , but it doesn't actually tell you if the plugin is bypassed or not, just that the switch has been pushed,
There is no two-way feedback for the LEDs and switch-status.
I've looked at DP's custom-consoles, which really is confusing to me...I use it allot but for really basic things), the NanoKontrol editor (which is another layer of setups and options), DP's Control Surface Setup (there is not a specific profile for the NanoKontrol, though some of these that are not HUI/MCU/Mackie might do something???), Osculator, other stuff.
Anyone have an idea how to make this work?
Thanks!

Oddly enough I watched your video yesterday afternoon searching for a solution.
Terrific video!
Looking this AM, I see that part of the problem is that I have the original NanoKontrol 1, which evidently (according to a bunch of posts) doesn't respond to this.
The NanoKontrol 2 evidently DOES, and has a global setting to put it in a sort of LED slave mode.
Thanks for this.
I'm going to switch to trying this with TouchOSC.
I am going to put up a new topic about that rather than extend this thread, which I can now "close" because its not going to work.
Thanks for the reply!
