MOTU 828ES and Sonarworks SoundID Reference room calibration issues.

Purchased the Sonarworks SoundID Reference system (which also comes with a calibration mic) but was unable to complete the SoundID Reference room measurement process using the MOTU 828ES. Received a " “High Noise level” on Right Speaker and couldn’t get beyond this point. Worked for a couple of weeks with Sonarworks technical support and tried several different settings/levels and was unable to figure out the problem and got hung up at the same point each time. I ended up using using my Audient iD14 interface instead which completed the room calibration without issue. The 828ES appears to be introducing some kind of interference/noise (which isn’t audible) which is troubling. I’m using the latest V92740 Pro Audio Installer. Has anyone else run into this issue?

I'm still adjusting to mixing/mastering using SoundID reference, but given my initial experience mastering a track last week, I think its a great system and it's transforming my mixing/mastering process!

Hmmm. I don’t know how the process differs from setting up ARC3… I didn’t have any issues with that.

I was just about ready to pull the plug on Sonarworks. I also have a 828es and unless this is resolved... well... that's a no-go.
