Thanks HC, all good info. I do run a UA tape emulation on my master bus- but I doubt that’s causing my latency. It’s running off my UA hardware— but I’ll certainly A/B to find out.

Good news , I just ran a mix with the new NI Guitar Rig 6 Apple version and it worked great- seemed like less processor hit and less latency. That’s probably one culprit removed..

Just updated to Komplete> Everything seems good (Apple Silicon-Native FX suite is now here) except Guitar Rig 6. AU of Version 6.2.4 is not being located by DP.

Digital Performer has encountered an error.
Mas,1 error reported by Mac Audio Unit Support
Failure: Initialize 275-10868 (-10868)

Re-installed after deleting NI-specified files.
Trashed the Audio Unit Info Each 64 Bit; DP re-scanned and shows AU FX and MFX Versions and VST3 version "Guitar Rig 6", no FX or MFX versions.

AU versions pull same error.
If enabled, VST3 version will open a window when instantiated as a plugin, but displays no data.

EDIT:
Thanks for connecting with us. This is a current known issue in DP, something our team is working on alongside with Native Instruments to resolve.

Mine appears to work better on 512 - I tried mixing on 1024 and even on 2048 and the machine stuttered at times whereas with 512 there is much more stability. I can even record guitars at 512 although for vocals 256 is better. Have to remind myself to switch back to 512 when done recording.

Hi , Did you get this resolved ? I'm having same issue with Guitar rig 6.2.4 and 6.3 . If I revert back to 6.2.3 it works fine no crash .

Mostly heard through live mic input, and virtual instrument MIDI triggering.

I think I’ve gone through and removed all non-Apple Silicon ready plug-in so I’m not in Rosetta 2 mode.

Not sure what’s going on, but pretty disappointing so far.
