Using Extended Displays Mode

Post by TrebleHook »

I've tried searching and nothing comes up anywhere, so thought I'd ask here. Using a 2020 iMac and a Thunderbolt display in extended mode with both screens set to the same resolution. My plugins and sofware instruments can be moved over to the thunderbolt display no problems. But I can not extend stretch my mixer, or any window view, MIDI, drum, tracks ect across both screens for editing purposes. Same goes for my internet browser. Does anyone know how to get it to work. I've had macs in the past, and they all let you extend the windows, I think even regardless the screen resolutions, because I recall doing it with a macbook. Thanks in advance, and Thanks for being here.
