I am on a windows machine and installed the Gen 5 software for the ultralite MK5, but the MIDI in and out ports are not visible from Reaper or any vst in standalone mode. The manual says they should be installed but I do not see them. Should they show up ins and outs with ultralink as part of the name.

I chatted with MOTU and apparently there is a MIDI driver issue with windows. I am not sure if this is an issue with the latest driver posted on 8/23/23 or if it is an ongoing issue, but they are working on it.

Is your mk5 MIDI issue resolved? I'm curious because I'm considering buying one to replace my mk3.
I'm also looking at a Focusrite Scarlett unit, instead. At this point, the deciding factor is going to be how good the software and drivers are.
