Soloing over the changes of "JoJo"

Post by wdegillio »

I recently saw a clip of Boz Scaggs performing his hit "JoJo" on a David Foster TV Special. Since I normally play over Jazz standards, I thought it might be fun to try a solo over this tune, which has quite an interesting Bridge section. Thanks in advance for checking it out!

Nice Bill... very fluid. I liked the chord change and how you shifted right into the new scale at 1:59. FYI... there's a YouTube BB Code for the site now, so you just take paste the video ID into a post, selected it, and choose the YouTube tag and it embeds the video. I went ahead and did that on your post. Good stuff!

Thank you so much, James! I'll remember to use the BB Code next time. All the best with your new Mac, as well!

Thanks... I had to sell a pretty nice guitar to help finance it, but it's just a wonderful machine!
