2408 MK3 Time Code Input

I need a little help figuring out the 2408 MK3 time code input function.

I am feeding valid time code to the RCA input jack, set the MOTU PCI SMPTE Console to the 2408 as a source, but nothing is shown on the reader. I have confirmed that there is in fact time code at the input jack, and the time code rate matches that for the PCI SMPTE Console.

Running Windows 10 64 bit, PCIe interface card. Firmware 1.2, HW 1.3, driver 4.0.6.6814.

What am I missing here?
