[896 mk3] Mains Out 1-2 bit depth seems limited to "Chanel 2, 16 bits, 44100/48000Hz"

Hi friends :D

I've been succesfully running an old 896 mk3 through Startech FW/TB adapter on Windows 10 with FW legacy drivers, playback flow perfectly without any glitch which is fine... excepting some weird issues including Mains Out bit depth :

When I go to Motu’s Main Out 1-2 advanced settings in Windows Audio control panel, I can only select 16 bits 44Khz or 16 bits 48Khz… Why so less options ? where is 24 bits ?

Here is the Windows manual. Many things affect the settings but what you are describing is Not a hardware limitation. You may or may not have to reset your unit to the factory Default settings.

Already checked manual and dind't find anything about this. Just did a factory reset, still have no other choice than 16 bits.
Any ideas ?
