motu 8pre dc modular levels

Hey i'm looking at getting a 8pre second hand and was wondering if it was fine with modular levels ? I know it can fucks up some interface but i can't find infos about the 8pre

Thanks yes i was speaking about CV control voltages. really loud signal.
So i ended up buying this motu 8pre but i can0t seem to be able to use the pad button on the interace. And in cuemix it's greyed out- Any ideas why ??

I'm on windows btw omg i can't find anything about it..

It's weird because on both the software and the hardware the 48v + the pad arent selectable. why ??

Oh also what is pretty strange is that in cuemix FX i can't seem to be able to select pad but a clicking a bunch of stuff suddenly make some of them available for a few sec and they stop being available.
I also can't update the firmware of the 8pre because it says "there are no devices in update state. please turn on the device"
