MOTU M64 with SSL Alpha Link SX

Hello everybody,

A Happy New Year from a first-time poster. :)

This month I’m moving to a new studio where they have an older SSL Alpha Link SX as I/Os. As far as I know it also comes with MADI. I’m planning to buy an M64 and connect it to the SSL via MADI and to my MacBook Pro 2015 via USB. Does anyone have this very same configuration? Does it work as reliable as I hope it does? Is it easy to set up? Or do you have an alternative recommendation how to access the Alpha Link from my MacBook Pro?
