Do you mean in the Sequence Editor? Not experiencing this.

Yes. I reverted to .02 and everything was good. I wonder if it has something to do with the fact that I’m running Mojave on an unsupported 2009 cheese grater. Not sure but editing failed and the pointer is also effected. My experience.

Hmmm. Maybe I'll hold off on updating to 11.03 for my Mojave rig.

macOS thinks your 2009 is a 2010. Your firmware-flashed computer is just as supported as any other 2010-2012 5,1. If it wasn't, you wouldn't be able to run the X5690 CPUs your 12 core uses. It simply would not work at all.

If you pull down the tools on my machine the pointer will destroy the player notes just by waving over a note. Also the blade doesn't cut. There is no way to edit on my machine. Please let me know if this is happening in Mojave with DP .03 on any of your machines?

I'm still on DP10.13. Just don't have time to futz, and initial problems with 11 have kept me away for now. M1 coming soon; I'll rebuild it all then.

I'm also on a MacPro4,1 8-core that was flashed to a MacPro5,1 and upgraded to a 12-core. I'm not really clear from your description what is happening. Something like that seems like it would have jumped out on me with the casual use I've been giving to 11.03 lately. Weird. I'd hesitate for everyone to take your experience as a wave-off of DP 11.03, however. I'm not seeing this.

In the next day or so, I'll update DP to 11.03 (on Mojave) and report back. Yea, I'd expect we'd be seeing some buzz here if there was an issue.

Thanks James. I've tried re-downloading -03 but no dice. Haven't seen this before ever. I'm frozen on .02 I guess.

I just updated to DP 11.03 (on my Mojave MBP) and tested selection in the MIDI Graphic Editor.

Lasso selection seems to work as it should.

[UPDATE: MOTU support noticed from my video that I was dragging in the wrong part of the ruler. Face-palm. :sorry: ]
However, when I tried to do a time-range selection from the ruler above, it doesn't work. More specifically, it shows the highlighted area in the ruler, but the notes below are not selected.

Is there some change to the way this is supposed to work? If not, I'll submit a TechLink.

I noticed today that the time/ruler selection seems to work once, then stops working after the first time.

Something is obviously very, very wrong. I know for sure that's not happening for me and I'm on Mojave also. I know that's not much help. I assume you've tried reinstalling DP?

Something is very wrong with my brain.

I was dragging in the conductor part of the ruler. Sloppy. User stupidity. Face has been repeatedly palmed as required by law.
