motu m2 driver stopping

im on windows 10 and have an M2.

Sometimes the audio completely stops working. I can switch to laptop realtek drivers and they work but switch back to motu and nothing.

If i go into the motu app to change sample rate the app locks up then eventually my laptop locks up and i need to reboot or i get a blue screen crash.
