Received my 2.5.0 chips, installed on both of my MX-XTU units, neither work

Turns out they have earlier USB chips. One is 1.11, the other is 1.31. Looks like you definitely need the 1.32 usb chip.

A few years ago after something like 8 months trying to track one down, I managed to get hold of the official MOTU upgrade kit for my XT and it had both the 2.0.1 ROM and 1.32 USB chip.

Usb eprom 1.32 needs to be copied. We have had OS eprom for a long time and it is available to everyone. It can be purchased on ebay.

Hi Everyone, I have had copied my MTP AV USB eprom version 1.32 copied successfully. Futher copies are available from Electronic Support Services, Kettering, Northhants, UK who have the neccessary code but It may be that you need to supply your own eprom, a Cypress CY7C64013-PC. I have found one supplier: eBay item number:123406512246. Hope this helps to keep these old units alive.

I am looking to update my old MOTU MIDI Express XT with the latest USB and OS Firmware (2.01/1.32) and this thread has been a great help.

Does anyone know if these latest updates enable MTS in OSX?
