Hello people,
I found an Ultralite Hybrid mk3 at a fair price and I was wondering if it is a safe purchase because I have a windows 10 pc which has only usb3 and I cannot add a firerwire card to it (it is a nuc).
So, what I want to know is these:
Does Ultralite Hybrid mk3 run ok using usb?
Can it handle 8 channels of audio at a decent latency though usb?
Is it stable?
I want to send cv to my eurorack, can it do it?
Thank you!
Ultralite Hybrid mk3 on windows 10, is it worth it?

Hi,
I can only answer your first question.
I am running it fine on windows via USB.. i was never able to get it working with firewire and believe me i tried everything.
My custom built PC however has both usb2 and 3. I have it going through usb2 as that's what is recommended / only available at the time motu released the ultralite mk3.
I'm pretty sure it will work ok with usb3, but i think some time back i was getting crackling sounds from the card, i did resolve the issue in the end, but i am not fully sure if the issue was caused by the USB cable i was using at the time or a combination of the wrong USB type cable plugged into a usb3 slot.
Hope that was some sort of help
