MachFive3 not showing up in my DP instruments menu

Post by Gone To Lunch »

Having just installed a new SSD, I am reinstalling everything fresh.

I have DP 9.5.2 up and running under OS 10.3.6.

My MachFive3 shows up ok standalone, but now does not appear in the instruments option in my DP?

Did you reinstall MV and reboot?

See if this applies. It has to me done within 30 minutes of many installs.

Does MV3 show up in the iLok License Manager?

Thanks for you reply.

Actually it re-appeared spontaneously (!) when I later switched everything off and re-booted.

I checked the iLok license key, and my old MachFive2, was there, but no 3?

The answer to a number of issues lately is to shut down, then reboot. A standard reboot doesn't always do it anymore. James, I and others have noticed this.

I never owned MV2 so can't address the iLok issue —f there is one. If MV3 works, then I guess not. I only know that, in the iLok LM, mine is listed MachFive3.
