PSP L'Otary 2 $20

Or less if you've bought from them before. I don't see an expiration date for this one. It's a free update if you have the first version.

If you don't have a Leslie simulator, this is hard to beat when on sale for $20. Here's a demo:

The 2.0.0 update's been available since late January, so those who own v1 and haven't updated yet, get with the programme and do it!

Not my cup of tea but some of you might like this. It'a $6.99 instead of $90 for the rest of today. You need the full current Kontakt player.

It's certainly not worth $90 but certainly worth more than $7. I just found the demo on YT to be lifeless and kind of dull.

Sounds "unrefined" in the same ways I'd expect a free VI to sound.

Amazing that it retails for $90.

Crazy, huh? If it was as flexible as, say, an Ensoniq SQ-80 I'd jump on it for a few hundred. Maybe the demo just sucks. At $7, I'm somewhat tempted.

Mostly I just don't think too many made in Kontakt synths are that great. Kontakt is not Reaktor, you're just not getting the same variety of filters etc. as you get from a full fledged object oriented programming language like Reaktor or Max MSP, let alone a true VST/AU plug in.
M2 Studio Ultra, RME Babyface FS, Slate Raven Mti2, NI SL88 MKII, Linnstrument, MPC Live II, Launchpad MK3. Hundreds of plug ins.

iZotope Vinyl Free Update

Post by monkey man »

Vinyl has finally been updated from the 2016-02 v1.8 version!

Still free, and with a new GUI. I don't remember the Spindown feature as having been there previously, so maybe that's new?

Thanks for letting me know.

Vinyl has come in handy many times (when I need those kinds of tones). It's really effective. YES, the spin-down feature is new.

Awesome sauce, Stubbsy.

I remember being impressed by its sound and stability way back during the noughties. Great plugin. Can't go wrong.

I don't know when that was introduced, but it was available in version 1.8.0, which had the old skin.
