Help - cannot find library on other drive and use it

I just got the Ethno 2.03. I loaded all the files on another drive, than the C drive. Who puts these on a C drive anyway!
Meanwhile, I made shortcuts and took shortcut off the name when I moved the shortcuts to the Motu file in C.
HOwever, the manual says to move it to a file called C:\Program Files\MOTU\Ethno
There is no such file on my C drive.
There is an Ethno Instrument file and a Scala file.
So the instructions make no sense. Meanwhile, I cannot use this product at all. Any help before I return it?
