MR Rack and Unisyn version 1.16

Hi All, I have a Ensoniq MR Rack that I'm putting back into service.
Originally, this unit came with a stripped down version of Unisyn, version
1.16 - for deep editing sounds & effects of the MR Rack. I still have this
software and installed it on my OS 9 partition of a G3 Mac laptop. Problem is,
when I launch this version of Unisyn, it brings up a window requiring a port for MIDI connection - the choice is either modem or printer port. That's it,
no other choices. I have a M-Audio Uno and I understand that it is OS 9
compatible, however, unless there's a work around via OMS or some specific
patch, Unisyn version 1.16 will only be looking for a RJ-11/14 modem connection (which probably will not work) or a printer port, which is not on my G3 laptop (and also would not work, because these two types of connection were intended to be connected to a MTP or similar MIDI interface). Short of buying a current version of Unisyn, which I really don't need, except for this single MR Rack, does anyone have suggections?

ANCIENT thread, I know. But by any chance do you still have a copy of that Unisyn software that I could somehow get from you? Haven't been able to find a copy online...
