I'd assume that the "random level" is whatever you've last used, Tomás.
Wouldn't that be "Zoom Back"? Original Zoom doesn't just go back one step in the zoom history.
Default Zoom is also not random -- it always takes me to the same Zoom level.
The manual says Default Zoom takes you to the "original zoom" level. I thought that might be the zoom level in the last saved version of the project, but it isn't. Nowhere else does the manual refer to "original zoom". It's so old no one remembers what it is

Right. I use Zoom Back constantly. Default Zoom is something else. Not random I guess. It's the same undetermined level every time, but I can't seem to affect it.
Not a big deal. I've never bothered to create a key command for it even. It was discussed in the webinar the other week. I thought someone might have caught it. I'll ask Matt in a webinar when I have a chance.

I found the other webinars I've attended or watched a bit basic, but this one is full of gems.
It is! Yes, I already know most of what's covered in the ones I've seen so far, but I still learn a new thing or two in each one and/or, just as importantly, I'm reminded of something old I'd forgotten. It's also useful to get a glimpse of other DP user's workflows.

It makes sense that these excellent webinars mix it up to target new and long time users.
I just wish they would make the webinars available sooner after the live events. The extensive list of topics from April through July is impressive.
The lag was bothering me too, but it looks like quite a bit of work to get them in shape - editing, detailed chapter markers for each topic etc. The latest one has nifty post-webinar screen zoom-ins that make a big dif. Plus, because of Zoom's audio limitations, the YouTube versions sound way better than they do live. So worth the wait I think. They end up being totally viable, extremely detailed tutorials that can live on YouTube for years to come.

That's how it is for me as well.

Agree, definitely worth the wait.

Please elaborate. Which webinar? What screen zoom-in?
I had only watched the very first YouTube version of the webinars they posted, which is just a static shot of the Zoom video stream. Subsequent videos posted (including the latest one on time-stretching) crop the screen and zoom into the areas of Matt's desktop relevant to what he's saying.
