Is DP compatible with JACK Audio Connection Kit?

There have been a few threads about using MainStage with DP and I would imagine that some of those methods would apply to your situation. IIRC, they involve creating MIDI/Audio ports that pass data between the apps. Search the forum and see what comes up.

I've used JackOS with DP to use with earlier versions of Mixbus. Once installed, it just shows up like any other audio device. But it was not that stable in my setup, and Mixbus no longer needs it.

I've used Soundflower more successfully. It also just shows up as any audio device and works with any application (at least those I've used) that works with CoreAudio, including System Audio which is a nice feature if you need to do screen recordings with audio. Another advantage of Soundflower is it has a 64 channel version.

Some have reported timing issues with Soundflower, but I've never had that problem.

I'm going to end up at some point doing the same thing.

Should be slightly better, at least audio wise. Jack is farther along on the Windows side, but IAC MIDI on OS X is a breeze for MTC control of two DAWs.
